Jenny West
creative vision matched with commercial acumen
Jenny West is a multidisciplinary designer and artist whose work moves fluidly between products, large-scale commissioned art, interior architecture, and the strategy that shapes how people inhabit space. A graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Interior Architecture and Product Design, her formative years included a Fulbright–Hays scholarship in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and language study in Bari, Italy — experiences that continue to inform her instinct for material, place, and the cultural weight an object can carry.
Based in Colorado, West founded Jenny West Artist, LLC in 2013, creating site-specific installations that celebrate a vibrant interplay of color and form. Her commissioned works include the 80-foot multi-material sculpture “Aerial Palette” and the 20-foot painting “Dyadic XL,” both for Cushman Wakefield in Denver, as well as digital works created for a product launch with Cooper Lighting Solutions. She has exhibited at Alto Gallery during Denver Arts Week, contributed annually to Alzheimer’s Colorado, and was named a “Stylemaker” by Colorado Homes and Lifestyles. Her award-winning interior design work at Gensler — including the Westin Hotel and Transit Center at Denver International Airport environments for brands like WPP, T. Rowe Price, Woodward, Wenger Swiss Army, Noodles & Company and Diesel — earned design recognition, sustainability certifications, an A.R.E. International Store of the Year award and a cover feature in Interior Design China.
This dual fluency — creative vision matched with commercial acumen — defines her leadership across the design industry. At Knoll, Inc., she spent nearly a decade as a Global Account Director and Transformation Leader, inspiring Fortune 100 brands including Google — where her contributions influenced the 2.3M sf Charleston East and Bay View headquarters — Microsoft, and others through ideation, rapid prototyping, and custom product design. She went on to originate and lead the consulting practice at Gensler’s Denver office, and later directed the national Workplace and Project Management division as Vice President at real estate firm Cresa, guiding the world’s leading organizations through growth and transformation. She holds NCIDQ, LEED AP ID+C, Fitwel, and PROSCI Change Management credentials, and was recognized early in her career by CoreNet Global as a “36 Under 36” young leader in 2014.
Frequently called on to speak about her work, Jenny has shared the stage at NeoCon, CoreNet, IIDA, and AIA regional conferences, as well as corporate keynotes and media commentary.
Today, through West Consulting, she partners with brands and institutions on commissioned objects, interiors, and the strategic narratives that surround them — bringing the same hand-sketched sensibility to a chair, an interior design solution, sculpture, or a global workplace standard alike.
